Help distribute food to families in need at Salaam Food Pantry's weekend food distribution in Fremont.

Help serve lunch at a senior center: set up the room, serve dine-in seniors, hand out to-go meals, and clean up afterward. Two-hour shifts, one per week.

A public meal-packing event where volunteers assemble meals for people facing hunger. High school students are welcome and staff will sign community service hour forms. Kids 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Sort food and clothing and stock shelves at the Viola Blythe warehouse. Additional opportunities include Saturday special projects for teen groups, event tabling, holiday food sorting, and the Children's Christmas Party (the Saturday before Christmas).

Sort and pack food at one of the largest food banks in the nation. Volunteers under 18 need a guardian's electronic consent at least 48 hours before their shift.

Sort and distribute food to families in need across Fremont, Newark, and Union City.
