About this opportunity

Help serve lunch at a senior center: set up the room, serve dine-in seniors, hand out to-go meals, and clean up afterward. Two-hour shifts, one per week.

Prerequisites

Food Handler Certification (online, ~1 hour, $7.95). Reliable transportation to the senior center. Willingness to commit to one shift per week. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult for the full shift.

Register with Spectrum Community Services

Fill out the volunteer interest form on the Spectrum site. A 1-hour online Food Handler Certification ($7.95) is required before your first shift. Meri Klingelhofer, the Senior Meals volunteer coordinator, will sign a service hour form brought to her in person.

Registration happens through the organization. Volunteen does not reserve or confirm your spot.
