Hayward Animal Services is accepting new shelter volunteers. Youth ages 10-15 can volunteer but must come in with an adult over 18. Ages 16-17 do not need an adult present, but an adult must sign off on their intake forms and fingerprinting. Staff can sign school community service hour forms by hand.
