Hayward Rotary Club
Hayward Rotary works with high school students on several yearly projects: a book sorting party (about 6,000 books sorted into book bags for third graders, an evening event with pizza for volunteers), the Rowell Ranch Rodeo concessions that raise money for the club's community grants, the Back to School Child Spree at Bay Fair Mall (100 students get a shopping budget for school items), and a November 8 breakfast fundraiser at Chabot College that supports education projects. Club members sign community service forms for participating students.
